We do not sell generic hatching eggs. We offer a refined breeding program designed to produce visually stunning egg color, dependable laying genetics, and birds meant to thrive in real family flocks.
Our breeding program is built on premium, established heritage layer breeds, carefully selected for egg quality, laying consistency, temperament, and long-term health. Over multiple generations, we have intentionally paired these proven genetics to create distinctive Two Little Acres Easter Egger offspring.
No two chicks are the same. Each hatch produces a signature range of blues, greens, olives, rich browns, and beautifully speckled variations — egg colors that can only be achieved through multi-generational, purpose-driven breeding.

Our fertile eggs come from a small, intentionally managed free-range flock that is organically fed and raised with daily access to pasture, sunlight, fresh air, clean water, and a low-stress environment.
We do not breed at volume. We breed with purpose. Every egg reflects careful management, ethical husbandry, and years of experience.
During peak season, our flock maintains an average fertility rate of approximately 80–90%, with natural variation influenced by weather, daylight, and seasonal changes. Fertility can never be guaranteed, but our results reflect a well-managed, actively laying, intentionally bred flock.
Peak hatching season: March through early June
Outside of peak season, laying and fertility become increasingly weather-dependent. Chickens may continue laying through winter months, but consistency is not guaranteed. We are always happy to discuss timing before ordering.
Fertile chicken hatching eggs are sold by the dozen only. Colors will vary.

Orders are placed through our website. Eggs are collected fresh and prepared within three days of purchase. Pickup is scheduled three days after ordering, between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Two Little Acres is a State of North Carolina NPIP & AI-certified hatchery, with flocks that are regularly tested and responsibly managed. These standards support the health, biosecurity, and integrity of the breeding program behind every egg we offer.
