Our 2-week program is specially crafted to ensure you have everything you need for an easy, fun experience caring for newly hatched baby chicks in your home. At the end of the experience chicks return to the farm to live out their lives in open pastures with our other soy-free, organic chickens to lay eggs for our community or protect flocks on farms!

Our Baby Chick Take-Home Experience allows families to care for 3 live, newly hatched baby chicks in the comfort of their own home. This experience is intentionally designed to be easy, educational, and memorable, even for families with no prior animal experience.
Perfect for families, homeschoolers, and children who love hands-on learning.
Everything you need is provided—no extra shopping required.
• 3 live baby chicks (newly hatched up to 2 weeks old)
• Brooder with safe heat plate
• 2+ weeks of chick feed
• Feeder & waterer
• Two bags of pine shavings
• Detailed, easy-to-follow care instructions
Daily care is simple:
✔️ Add food & water as needed
✔️ Change bedding once per week
That’s it. We’ve done the hard part for you.
Pick-up is self-serve, making it flexible and stress-free for busy families.
• Choose a time that works best for you
• Provide a 2-hour arrival window the morning of pick-up
• Your chicks and full care kit will be set out and ready to go
No waiting. No coordinating. Just grab and go.
Fridays only (with some flexibility)

If you need a different pick-up day or timing, just message me to check availability — we have some flexibility when schedules allow.
Our chicks are very young and fragile.
• Newly hatched chicks are learning to regulate their body temperature
• Chicks cannot be squeezed or dropped
• Adult supervision is required at all times
• Best suited for children ages 3+
This experience may not be appropriate for families with very young toddlers.
For the safety of the animals, this experience is not available for birthday parties or group events.

Q: Do we hatch the chicks ourselves?
A: No. This is a take-home experience—your chicks are already hatched (up to 2 weeks old), so you can enjoy them right away.
Q: What exactly is included?
A: Everything you need: brooder, heat plate, 2+ weeks of food, feeder, waterer, two bags of shavings, and step-by-step care instructions.
Q: How does pick-up work?
A: Pick-up is self-serve. We just need a 2-hour arrival window the morning of pick-up, and your chicks + kit will be ready to go.
