At Two Little Acres, our ducks are raised for families and backyard keepers who want more than generic feed-store stock. Our birds are calm, hardy, and excellent layers bred and cared for with intention, ethics, and long-term success in mind.
All of our ducks are intentionally mixed-breed ducks, crossed for strong egg production, resilience, and temperament.
These are not random mixes and not Tractor Supply or hatchery stock.

By blending these proven genetics, we create ducks that thrive in real backyard and homestead environments—productive, adaptable, and easy to manage.
Our pricing is based on age, reflecting the time, feed, space, and daily care invested as each duck grows.
Because our Hatch-a-Duck educational program helps subsidize the true cost of raising ducks properly, we’re able to keep pricing accessible while still raising our birds ethically, slowly, and on organic feed until they’re ready for their forever homes.
In many cases, our pricing is lower than purchasing a newly hatched duckling from a commercial hatchery, even though our ducks receive significantly more individualized care.
We don’t price to match the market.
We price with intention so high-quality ducks can end up in thoughtful homes where they’ll truly thrive. Up until 4 months old all ducks are sold “Straight Run” or in other words unsexed.
1 month old — $7 each
2 months old — $10 each
3 months old — $15 each
4 months old (guaranteed females) — $35 each
